eczema cream non prescription

What non-prescription lotion can I use on my baby’s mild eczema?

We’re away from home and need something in the meantime, as I forgot to bring her regular cream, for her poor little cheeks and arms.

If your baby’s eczema is the dry type, I would recommend you try Aqueous Cream from Boots the Chemist, or any other big pharmacy. It is a simple emollient, without any lanolin or steroid, and can be used as a “soap” as well as a moisturiser. It’s kept body and soul together for me for years and I could not get by without it. Expect to pay about £2.90 for a 500g tub, so it’s really good value as well.
