permanent hair colour blue
Do I have to wash out semi-permanent hair dye before permanently dying it?
My hair is naturally really dark brown, nearly black, and at the beginning of summer, I dyed it two colours: red permanent streaks and semi-permanent blue. It’s getting hard to pick out outfits that match black, red and blue hair (haha) so I’m going to dye it black again. Before I dyed the blue, I had to bleach it. Not for the red because it was specifically for dark hair. What will happen if I don’t wash out the semi-permanent blue before I dye it black again?
I don’t think it will really matter that much because (if i understood correctly) you will be dying over it. It might be a good idea just to be safe but all in all whats the worse that could happen? I’ve done that before and my hair was fine. Good luck!
